- MMichaelvipSan Francisco Bay Area •575 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoFair lunch this afternoon. Pleasant lake view from my window table. I started with the French onion soup. I remembered it being better on my last visit. Rather unremarkable this time. Next I had the bacon wrapped 7oz.filet Mignon with crispy French fries. The fries were quite tasty and as crispy as advertised. The filet was perfectly cooked medium rare. Fair selection of wines by the glass. Service was adequate.More infoGar Woods Grill and Pier RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Californian• Carnelian Bay•4.7
- IICELYNNChicago / Illinois •8 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoEverything was top notch from the moment we stepped in. Our server Jeremy was excellent; so friendly, outgoing, and had great recommendations. All support staff was outstanding as well. Ok now about the food...we started with the oysters...wow! They were from B.C. and were perhaps the creamiest, most buttery oysters we've ever had. They were not large oysters, but packed full of flavor and wonderful texture. We had the crispy eggplant as a side and we were so surprised by this dish. Unexpectedly amazing. Lightly battered small chunks...fried to delicate perfection! For our main dishes, we had the crispy salmon (crispy was an understatement...perfectly moist and tender with amazing crisp skin topper) and Chef Ramsey's specialty, Beef Wellington. As expected, it was perfection...literally melt in your mouth goodness. Highly recommend, this experience was fantastic!More infoRamsay’s Kitchen by Gordon Ramsay - Silver LegacyPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Reno•4.1
- JJennaSan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoCora was perfectly attentive. I especially value when servers don’t just bust in while we are talking but also walk by and can tune into what we need, when we need it. Teresa the bartender was engaging, offered a creative twist on our beverage we didn’t end up preferring, and she handled it perfectly. The food was exceptional. Love the new menu. The food was not only DELICIOUS, it was also presented beautifully which also added an extra touch of class. Love the Sawyer and will keep coming back.More infoThe Sawyer at Schaffer's Mill ClubPrice: Expensive• American• Truckee•4.5
