Great spot, good ambiance. Service was excellent and the food was tasty. Great expresso martini

The whipped ricotta small plate was amazing! Drinks were superb as well. The grits that came with the scallops were flat but the scallops themselves had a very fresh taste.all in all will definitely go back. The sour dough had a great crust on it. The butter was cold wish it was more room temp but I can’t be too picky lol

This is a nice experience that is consistently reliable for tasty food with a good variety of choices.

Some of the tapas, like the grilled octopus and lamb croquettes (a special of the day) were exceptional, and most were very good. Fans of gambas al ajillo may want to skip it, as the shrimp were disappointing. El Pulpo also has many paella options, and the Valenciana was nice. It had a good crust around the edge of the pan and rich flavors.
