Cafe des Artistes is a MUST for any foodie/ Michelin enthusiast visiting Puerto Vallarta. The service is attentive and knowledgeable without being overbearing, and the food is artistic and creative— both visually and flavor wise. Additionally, the manager, Ephrain, goes above and beyond for all of the patrons. Cafe des Artiste is deserving of even more recognition than it has already received.

Energy and service is great. Seems like a great place for group dinner. My prime filet mignon was seared a bit aggressively on the grill and served on a sizzling stone allowing me the interaction of bringing it from rare to medium rare as I ordered it but this cooking method does tend to dry the outside of the delicate filet a bit. My truffle fries on the side were underwhelming, but I did enjoy the complimentary chips and dip a lot. My cheesecake was dry and bland but they very graciously made sure to replace it with a delicious tiramisu upon seeing that I did not like it. Overall I would recommend as a lively, fun steakhouse with great food, attentive service and panache.

Such a great spot that is a bit of a hidden gem. if you’re looking for a great view over the city, go about a half an hour before sunset. It’s beautiful!

Compomar was an excellent experience. I was with three other adults. The food was exceptionally good. The prices were moderate and the portions were large. A must visit

Our server, Rogelio Rivera was fabulous. He was professional, courteous, and extremely helpful with our orders. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, it will take your breath away. The presentation and attention to detail is unbelievable. We had the lobster mac and cheese which was served in the lobster tail, and the filet which was cooked to perfection. They actually had a person to cut my steak for me, I decided to do it myself as I was very uncomfortable with all the attention of the waiters standing next to us.
