Restaurants near London Road

We arrived for a Sunday Roast, it was the first Sunday as they only opened on Thursday. I had soup with a hot bread roll the soup was very nice tasted homemade. I had roast beef my wife had pork I would say it was probably catering meat we both had two slices of meat. The veg was freshly cooked with roast & mashed potatoes the Yorkshire pudding was a catering one but it was okay. Unfortunately being the first time they opened on a Sunday they didn’t have any horse radish sauce or mustard for my beef my wife did have Apple sauce. The service was very good and they cleaned the tables as soon as you left. The drinks were quite expensive.

Made to feel very welcome and valued on arrival. The service we received was efficient and very friendly. The servers were chatty and full of smiles. The interior is clean, fresh and comfortable with plenty of room between tables. Our meals were absolutely delicious. Everything tasted extremely fresh and expertly cooked. The flavours and textures were exactly how you'd hoped them to be and we were not disappointed. What an absolute treat. Although nest time, my pudding needed more ice cream!!! I would highly recommend The Haughmond. We will definitely return. Thank you
