Great food at good value. The tiramisu is the star of the show! The staff were really friendly and helpful too

Excellent friendly service in atmospheric and lovely old pub surrounded by beautiful scenery. The food was delicious and home cooked, - and great value. I first visited this pub around 40 years ago, and have always made an effort to call in when I'm rarely in the are, and will definitely be in again in the not too distant future. A great afternoon well spent with family. Top marks all round!

Amazing as always. Our favourite restaurant. The best steak by far.

A great meal at blacklock chops on a Monday night, some serious competition in the city centre for steak and this experience was flawless. Service by Johnathon was bang on, as was the food and drink. Cannot wait to return for a Sunday roast.

Our first visit to Rose Cottage and we were not disappointed. Beautiful surroundings, efficient friendly staff and excellent food. We had a great time and will definitely be back again very soon. A special Thank you to Meg who looked after us and made us feel very welcome. Thank you :-)
