- GGaryNew Hampshire •1 review5.0Dined 5 days ago24 Carrot at Rabbit Hill Inn is a treasure in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. I've been wanting to go for years and finally had a good reason to do so. Met an old friend from high school and his partner in the Snooty Fox for a drink before dinner. The bar is small, but very cozy and on the rustic side. The staff was super attentive and friendly. We made our way into 24 Carrot for our 7pm reservation. The dining room is small...maybe 7 or 8 tables, but the tables are very well spaced apart. This is a perfect place for a romantic dinner or a fun get together. The dining room has a very elegant feel to it, but not at all stuffy. We actually struck up a conversation with the couple at the table next to us which made it all the more fun. The food is nothing short of incredible! I opted for the Steak Frites and have to say it's the best steak I've ever had. It had a small amount of a tasty creamy sauce, which I'd probably have on the side if I ordered it again because I like to taste the full flavor of the steak. Started with the beet & citrus salad which was equally as delicious. You might explain a place with such fine dining that the portions would be on the small side, but they were not. We opted not to have dessert. But we did start the meal the potato croquettes which were amazing! It was really a perfect evening. Don't go expecting a bargain meal, but when the meal and ambiance and staff are this good, you don't at all mind paying for it. I also used to think the Rabbit Hill frond on locals in the restaurant, but a change of ownership 2 years ago also came with a change in attitude and locals are not very welcome.More info24 CarrotPrice: Very Expensive• American• Littleton•4.9
- JJasonSacramento / Sacramento Valley •3 reviews5.0Dined on May 22, 2025My husband and I celebrated our 28th anniversary at Adair. This was our first visit, and it won't be our last. We ate on a Thursday, which happened to be their "Date Night" special; a shared appetizer, 2 salads or 2 desserts, and 2 entrees. Everything was exceptional, including our server, Hallee, who put a celebratory card on our table before we arrived. The decor, the ambience, the music, everything nicely complemented our evening. One part we really enjoyed was we did not need to season our food. This was highly enjoyable to us as this has not been the case from other restaurants. A chef's kiss to the chef for a superb meal! We highly recommend the Adair Inn for anyone looking for a great meal, fantastic service, and an overall wonderful experience.More infoAdair Country Inn & RestaurantPrice: Expensive• American• Bethlehem•4.7
