We had such a wonderful time at MIDA for our two year anniversary! The service was exceptional and we absolutely loved our food! MIDA has a great atmosphere and we can’t wait to go back.

This was our first experience at Standard Italian, and much like its sister restaurant around the corner, Eastern Standard, proprietor Garrett Harker has nailed the formula - warm, inviting ambiance that's sophisticated without feeling stuffy; attentive, friendly service that goes out of its way to make recommendations and meet special requests; and a distinctive food and drink menu with generous portions and pours. Must tries: the lasagna (no, seriously, it's that good - particularly on a winter night), arancini, bay scallop crudo, squid ink pasta. Most everything is good for sharing, and if you've still got room, hit the trio of different-flavored cannolis for dessert! You won't regret. Hope this place thrives, because this entire restaurant group (ESK, SI, Equal Measure) is a great, much needed addition to the Fenway area.

The place was pretty empty on a Saturday afternoon. Overall, the suhsi & sashimi portions are rather small (6 pieces) for the price (16-18$). My daughter did like the ramen a lot, but otherwise, I would not say that the value was there.

We had a stellar experience at Eastern Standard. The food was absolutely delicious, the cocktails were interesting (in a really good way!) and the space is gorgeous (although a skosh on the noisy side). But it was service that tipped our night over the top. It was exceptional: our server Jackie was absolutely wonderful. She treated our group so well, and was amazingly attentive, especially given how busy the restaurant was. This was my first time in Eastern Standard’s not-so-new-anymore space, and I don’t know why I waited!

This is our second year coming for the Santa cantina and once again it didn’t disappoint. Food is delicious, drinks are festive and yummy, and the atmosphere is wonderful
