- KKirstenSan Antonio •4 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe theater district was crazy busy as was Birraporetti’s but the staff seamed to be handling the crowds with experience and grace. We were able to get a reservation prior to our show with the help of the very sweet hostess. Our waitstaff, though busy, were attentive and helpful. It did take a while to get drinks or food, fortunately we were not in a rush. The food arrived hot and was delicious as always. Birraporetti’s is definitely our go to whenever we are in the theater district. Great staff, great food, and a great show equals a perfect evening.More infoBirraporetti's - Theater DistrictPrice: Moderate• Italian• Downtown•4.4

- KKarenHouston •19 reviews5.0Dined on Mar 16, 2025Had a special birthday dinner, at Morten’s, with the family, before attending Hamilton at the Hobby Center. I had made a 4:30 PM reservation to ensure we would not miss the 7 PM curtain. We just made it with moments to spare! Overall the food was excellent, the rack of lamb with Madeira wine reduction was fantastic, the Ribeye with black truffle butter sublime and the lobster ravioli was delicate and flavorful. The Wagyu meatballs were excellent, but the bacon wrapped scallops were too salty from the bacon. The crab cakes were meaty, but lacking in flavor and not a stand- out. The table of six enjoyed the parmesan truffle matchstick fries, the crunchy panko- crusted onion rings, the Guy-ere/ bacon scalloped potatoes and the jumbo asparagus- grilled to perfection. The guys enjoyed a single- malt whiskey flight and the ladies shared a Greysac French Burgundy. Our waiter brought out a complimentary chocolate lava cake with ice cream for the table to share- delicious! At 6:35 we were getting nervous for our check so the non- theater member of our party settled the tab while we headed to Hobby. A joyous birthday celebration indeed!More infoMorton's The Steakhouse - Houston - DowntownPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• Downtown•4.6
