Love and Salt is a story that begins with Cafe Pierre, a restaurant birthed by Guy Gabriele in 1977 to bring a taste of France to Los Angeles’ South Bay.     Our dinner at JOEY Manhattan Beach was perfection! We were greeted warmly with a smile and seated promptly for our reservation. The food was delicious and the service outstanding! We had the Butter Chicken, which was tender and full of flavor, and the Farmers Market salad, which was vibrant, fresh, and crisp. We will definitely be back!

    The food and service are exceptional (as you would expect). Biscuits are to die for, skirt steak and ribeye, cooked perfect. Green beans spicy and flavorful. For some reason, the acoustics in dining room aren’t so good to listen to dinner companions. Other than that ambience is great with good lighting, beautiful ferns and plants. Only build for January would be to offer some mock-tails or NA beer (dry January). There is no menu for cocktails, but when I asked the waiter if he had one, he told me the bartender could whip something up. He came back with a NA spritz which was delicious!
