Restaurants near Manzanilla Beach

Made a reservation for 8PM. On arrival I was told that someone else supposedly came in claiming to be me and took my reservation. I was subsequently asked to wait an additional 15 mins to be seated. Service was okay other than that

Went to Sunday brunch before a long trip back to the states. Food was delectable, with a wide variety of options and the live calypso band steel drum band provided a lively atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The welcome and the service were warm and attentive yet discreet. The aromas from the kitchen were tantalizing but not overpowering. Wine list extensive. Every item we ordered from the robust menu included perfectly seasoned (tasty, savory, but never overwhelming) mouthwatering dishes. We were satiated and delighted to have had this experience. Dinner included the Tandoori Nawaozish appetizer to share and our entrees included lamb shank cooked in a clay pot, a delectable sea bass and Shrimp Udaipuri with savory steamed rice and naan. Our sides dishes of pepper mushrooms and Goan Brussel sprouts were also on the money. SUMMARY: Don’t visit Trinidad without experiencing Meena’s House!!
