- VVictoriaWashington, D.C. Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoWe went there for bf's birthday and it was such a wonderful experience. The vibe was energetic with the right music and lighting, the service was great with just the right amount of attention to us. We didnt feel rushed and had plenty of time to have uninterrupted conversations with meals and drinks in between. We both wanted the beef wellie so we got that and the short rib and split both and they didnt disappoint.More infoGordon Ramsay Hell's Kitchen - Washington DCPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary European• Southwest Waterfront•4.5
- BBarbaraWashington, D.C. Area •11 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoFour of us met to celebrate a retirement at Ada's and the evening couldn't have been more perfect. We were greeted warmly, and the hostess accommodated our request for a comfortable table where the noise level wouldn't be overwhelming for my 90 YO mother. We were seated at a booth with a gorgeous view of the river, where the noise level was lively but not too much. Our server was friendly and professional, just the right amount of attentive. I had taken a fall on the ice leaving my home, and he kindly had a bag of ice sealed in a take-home bag for me to keep on my injured knee. So off to a great start, and everything just got better from there. The food was delicious. We had the swordfish, crab-stuffed trout, large crab cake with carrots and sweet potatoes as sides. We shared a soufflé for dessert--it was large enough for the four of us. All the portions were generous--two of us ate our fill and left with enough for dinner the next day. I've been to Ada's many times and my guests, none of whom had been before, now have it on their list of Old Town favorites.More infoAda's on the RiverPrice: Moderate• American• Old Town Alexandria•4.7

The place was packed and traffice was terrible so i got there late, bt I asked for them to hold the reservation. The hostesses, down to the wait staff were awesome. High energy - lots of Capital Hill celebs there.More infoOld Ebbitt GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Downtown•4.8
- SSandyVirginia •10 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoOh my gosh, this was such a fabulous restaurant! It was so pretty inside. They still had decorations up for Christmas and it was spectacular. As I walked in the door, I saw a lady who was hand making ravioli. I had to have it! I got the lobster ravioli and it was amazing. Leftovers for lunch today. It was a nice touch having an offer of amaretto or Sambuca at the end of our meal complementary. It was a nice place to celebrate my husband‘s birthday. I highly recommend it.More infoFilomena RistorantePrice: Expensive• Italian• Georgetown•4.8
