The lighting is well done, and the restaurant has two rooms, offering the option of a more private setting - which we appreciated, especially since our request for privacy was honored. The wine selection is excellent, and both the glassware and plating feel carefully considered. The sharing-style menu makes it a lovely choice for a romantic evening. Staff were friendly and attentive throughout. We enjoyed the beef tartare and mac & cheese - both nicely prepared. Portions are on the smaller side, which encourages trying a variety of dishes, though this does raise expectations at the price point. I found the lamb underwhelming for the cost. The passionfruit dessert was overly acidic, likely due to the fruit itself. All in all, a pleasant experience. While the food didn’t quite deliver a “wow” moment, the ambiance and service make it worth a visit. I’d recommend it - with having in mind that expectations around portion size and pricing should be managed.

I had my birthday dinner at Marconi at The Hotel Bristol and it was FABULOUS!!! The space is gorgeous, the service was impeccable, and the food was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this for a special occasion!

Terrific waiter, good food and uniquely European ambiance. Would happily return.
