- CcolinYorkshire •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoEvery thing about our night out was great until they brought the bill...i know things have a service charge but to stand there and say you don't have to pay it if you dont want kinda puts you on the spot a bit ,but our service charge was £7 (which i didnt pay by the way ) as£7 pounds for carring 2 plates is a bit high and if service charge wasnt on the bill we would have left a tip at our discretion...as we are pensioners and i felt for the group of8 students opposite whose bill was over £200 pound making that £20...im just glad we did not order a bottle of champagne at £100 as that would have been another £10for carring it to the table .......bit naughty LuciasMore infoLucia - YorkPrice: Expensive• Italian• Harrogate•4.5

Fantastic place to enjoy a celebratory meal. Highly recommend!More infoThe Cut & Craft YorkPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• York•4.6
- DDavidYorkshire •15 reviews4.0Dined 4 days agoWe were treated to afternoon tea. A gift voucher from our son and new daughter in law. Not that we had paid I thought the price of the afternoon tea for what we got was rather expensive. Not a price I would have paid. The tea was quite nice, my wife had a pot of tea and I ordered coffee. On the menu it stated a pot of coffee. All I got was a cup of coffee. The staff were very friendly, but didn’t come to ask if everything was ok. It was a nice experience but having had afternoon tea in other places it was expensive compared to other venues.More infoThe Ivy St. Helen’s SquarePrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• York•4.5
- JJanetLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 27, 2024I’ve been a regular customer here for years. Just as I was getting bored of the menu. They’ve launched a new one with more big plate meals over sharing plates. (Which I really enjoyed in the summer. But in the winter, I want something more wholesome to eat). Really enjoyed our meal today. The duck pate was divine. Very fresh high-quality produce. Lots of taste portion sizes too big for us. We sat upstairs, which was altogether a really pleasant dining experience rather than an empty table that was then populated with cutlery and your glasses, etc.More infoGEO Bar and GrillPrice: Expensive• Contemporary British• Scarborough•5
