- DDavidSeattle / Eastern Washington •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoThis was my wife and my first time visiting La Mar in Bellevue, but we have been to the original La Mar in Lima, Peru before. Our experience at La Mar Bellevue was outstanding. The decor, ambience, utensils were all impeccable, modern and pristine. If you have visited Peru, you will feel that you’re in Peru. If you have never been, then you will immediately notice the upscale but relaxed nature of this restaurant. The staff was incredibly welcoming and constantly responsive to meet the needs of the customer. The food was out of this world, the fish used in the ceviche creations is ‘melt in your mouth’ tender and the flavors, a mix of traditional and creatively modern. We tried the veal heart anticuchos and strongly recommend, very delicate and tender, no gaminess at all. The grilled octopus was smoky, tender and juicy. All accompanied by one the best potatoes we have ever had. Pisco sour, in any of the offerings, is a must. The prices in the menu are consistent with high quality offerings and by all means reflect the value of the meal. Lastly, a special thank you to Chef Victoriano Lopez for greeting us at our table and graciously posing with us for a memorable picture. Cheers!More infoLa Mar Cocina Peruana BellevuePrice: Expensive• Peruvian• Bellevue•4.7

- DDonaldVirginia •37 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had a mid-afternoon shellfish meal as a birthday celebration for my wife. We chose The Grand shellfish platter with a glass of Taittinger champagne and a side of a dozen Misty Point oysters. It was served with polite professionalism and the food and drink were excellent.More infoWater Grill - BellevuePrice: Expensive• Seafood• Bellevue•4.6
- CcarmenSeattle / Eastern Washington •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe were happy to have a window seat to see the sunset with our BD meal, drinks! We ordered filet mignon, rack of lamb, king salmon, and pork. All were very good, although pork dish would have been better with lamb jelly. Complimentary BD dessert was great ( ice cream fudge sundae w/coconut ice cream) + honey cake w/carmel & raspberry sauce w/ice cream. Appetizers bacon wrapped scallops, calamari, and fried artichoke hearts were great! Margarita + cappuccino coffee + mock tail pomegranate mojito were great! James gave us good service ( but talked very fast so sometimes hard to understand). Enrique was very helpful, friendly.More infoDaniel's Broiler - BellevuePrice: Expensive• Steak• Bellevue•4.5

But I also love the Bellevue location as well.. It is all not just good, it’s exceptional! Food, service, atmosphere, and overall ambience are of the highest quality.
