A $23 French toast should be brioche bread thick cut not standard bread standard slices. The bacon was cool if not cold. Which of course means it was made in bulk at an earlier time. We waited nearly 40 minutes for our food and regardless of how busy you are they should’ve made the food fresh. Especially when it was ordered à la cart and we paid à la cart prices. The view is priceless and the facility itself is beautiful. One can’t complain about seeing Lake Michigan from their window while eating breakfast. Coffee was excellent if a little weak. But that’s just a personal preference. Premium pricing is acceptable under the circumstances but not with the current quality of food. This was average food in a above average setting and left us wanting for something a little more exciting and interesting. I could understand if it was a buffet but to serve cool or relatively older food rather than freshly make it and preserve it to the table piping hot is not acceptable. Still a great experience.More infoTerrace 16Price: Expensive• Contemporary American• Near North•4.4
- IIvoryVIPChicago / Illinois •24 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoThe restaurant we originally reserved cancelled for our party of 14 an hour before. We were lucky enough to get a reservation via OpenTable for our group and make it there in time to celebrate a birthday and honestly, everything was amazing! The food was great, the service was even better! GRACE was phenomenal. We had a big group, our reservation was late in the evening, and she handled everything phenomenally. We were sat at 2 long tables next to each other and Marcus covered the other table (full of indecisive teens) and he was great! Swift, responsive, and polite. I can’t say enough good things about the service we received.More infoThe EviePrice: Expensive• American• River North (Chicago)•4.8
- GGigiChicago / Illinois •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoThe minute we walked in, they made us feel VIP. We celebrated a milestone birthday and requested a window view of the Chicago River. They accommodated and provided special birthday touches. A card and free dessert with a candle included. The best was the food. A solid experience for dinner out with my extended family on a busy Saturday evening.More infoSiena TavernPrice: Moderate• Italian• River North (Chicago)•4.7

We were greeted by the maitre'd as if we were one of their best customers and were seated at a booth that we sat in the last time we were there even though we did not request it. The service was impeccable as we were not rushed even though the restaurant was very busy. The timing of the food from beginning to end was at comfortable pace and the food, including salad, grilled seafood and a steak, was perfectly prepared. The general manager of the restaurant even came to our table to welcome us. All in all, it was one of the best dining experiences of the year, and we visit many restaurants throughout the year.More infoJoe's Seafood, Prime Steak & Stone CrabPrice: Very Expensive• Seafood• River North (Chicago)•4.9
