Restaurants near Merlin's Cave

We had a great table near the window, service was excellent, food and drinks most delicious. Can definitely recommend the Sunday Roast Beef. The beef is so tender and vegetables perfectly cooked.

We always try to pop in for a meal when we’re visiting the area on holiday and very much enjoy it when we do. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is lovely. It’s not your average pub grub so it is on the expensive side, but worth it. I had scallops followed by hake, both of which were delicious. My husband had the mussels and the steak and ale pie which he enjoyed. Desserts followed, cheesecake for me and a chocolate cremieux for hubby. Nothing to fault. Hopefully back next time

The restaurant is wonderful - both the atmosphere and ambience was warm and friendly, the service was impeccable with lots of extra details about what was available and the food when it arrived. A really excellent first visit and we will go out of our way to come again ! Thankyou
