For us, J. Gilbert's is a destination restaurant. The food, service, and ambiance are always outstanding.

Been several years since I visited Tavern in the Village-should have done it sooner! Sunday night was very busy particularly with large family groups but service for all size groups was still appropriately attentive. Food was outstanding and flavorful. I had the tomato bisque, wedge salad and beef stroganoff-all excellent! If looking for just a light meal I would suggest the bisque, the wedge salad which is served with a freshly baked roll, and a glass of wine. Tavern has an unusually large selection of wine by the glass which many of the patrons were enjoying.

The food, drinks and especially service from Misty was terrific! Couldn’t have asked for vombination!

Dinner was fabulous. Emma made great suggestions. every item was a hit. Bang Bang Shrimp, Wedge salad (awesome dressing), Short Ribs, and Ribeye Pork chop were all great. Wine was great. Wonderful experience
