Excellence everywhere! From fantastic food and wine to spectacular service, this was an excellent meal, in a city full of great restaurants.

This was definitely an ‘experience’ that I was happy about! You MUST make a reservation to be ensured entry- those that were walk ins lined up for at least an hour! There is a time limit for entry, but the bar and bartenders were very attentive! Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back many times!

Unbelievable experience. We went for and early lunch and the staff were so attentive and always there when we needed. Our margaritas were excellent and all the food we ordered was delicious - ended with a lemon tart to top it all off.

We couldn't book Contramar as it was booked way ahead of time, but Entremar is the sister restaurant with the exact menu. Way easier to book, but was full both upstairs and down when we were there so still try to book in advance. As many have recommended, go for the "Pescado a la talla 500 g" which which is a whole grilled fish and do the "Contramar" (half with red adobo rub & half with parley rub). Very well grilled and the two tastes are very distinct and flavourful. They recommend going with 1kg (double the order for about 1300+ pesos) for 2 people, but we were a table of 2 ourselves and preferred 500g (which was more than enough) so that we could try other menu items. Also would recommend their tuna tostadas, scallop tostadas, Tiritas Zihuatanejo (Mahi Mahi in lime juice with chile serrano & red onions), Sopes con esmedregal al pastor (King fish al pastor style), and Ensalada de berros y nopales (Watercress, cactus & radishes with lime vinaigrette). For dessert, I don't really recommend the Meringue with fresh strawberries as it's just a lot of cream (unless you like that), but I recommend the Fig Tart. Overall, a great restaurant and very worth trying as a nicer dinner! For reference, bill came out to be about $190 CAD. before tip. We definitely could've ordered less but wanted to try a lot!

This was one of the best experiences we had on our trip to Mexico City. The staff and service were exceptional. The views were beautiful and the food was amazing! Once we went up a private elevator, we were greeted with complimentary cocktails and great service!
