- JJenniferChicago / Illinois •18 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 30, 2024We were there around 6 p.m. on a Sunday night. It was pretty quiet so no crowds or noise to deal with. The staff were pleasant and attentive. The food was all good but I had the salmon blt and there were 3 tiny pieces of salmon on a large bun so it was hard to tell it was a fish sandwich. I had this same experience at a Cooper's Hawk recently ... shrinkflation. Other than the fish portion, we had no complaints.More infodrafthousePrice: Expensive• Gastro Pub• Janesville•4.6
- PPeteVIPDenver / Colorado •88 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 27, 2024I dine here once/month when in town visiting my mom. The food and service are consistently good and the specials change frequently enough that I'm never bored with my options. I particularly enjoyed the poached jumbo prawns with pomegranate "caviar" on top of a luscious creamed spinach sauce. The prawns were perfectly cooked, moist, and flavorful. The "caviar" accentuated the sweetness of the prawns and the sauce was divine. I didn't understand the need for the alfalfa sprouts on top. The dish would have been fine without them. I also really enjoyed the holiday old fashioned I had as an after dinner drink. The mulled fruit and bit of port wine made for an interesting and slightly sweet variation on the classic southern version. Another fine meal and I've made my reservation for my next visit already.More infoWissota Chophouse - JanesvillePrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Janesville•4.6
