We had a lovely dinner at Hula Grill. We sat outside, had attentive service, delicious poke tacos, coconut seafood stew and macadamia crusted fish, and braised pork shank. Everyone really enjoyed their dinners. We ate here a few years ago and I thought the food was more delicious this time. Would definitely recommend.

It was so great being back with Star Noodle! I've been visiting them from the days up in the industrial area, to the Aloha Plate location, next door, to this location now (former Freidas spot)! The food was excellent, as always! The service is always consistently good! I love the new location! It has been transformed from the cute Mexican restaurant, to the classic Star Noodle ambiance! Always love dinning on the water during sunset, paired with Star Noodles experience made it for a perfect evening! I can't wait to go again! And again! Aloha!

My family of five adults and a one year-old granddaughter enjoyed our second meal at Leilani‘s on the beach during our one week vacation on Maui. The ambience was superb as it was a nice evening with a beautiful sunset. Our server was Derek, and he was wonderful. He was attentive, friendly, and helpful. All our requests were taken care of by Derek. The food was superb again as usual. We enjoyed the calamari and Korean pork ribs as starters, and the pork ribs are very flavorful! They had a children’s menu for our one year-old, and she devoured most of the chicken and green beans. Two of us enjoyed the superb sesame crusted tuna with a tasty shiitake soy butter. One daughter enjoyed the shrimp pasta, and the other enjoyed the Alaskan King crab legs. Even though the crab legs were expensive, there was a large amount of meat within the large crab legs, and the crab meat was so tender and succulent. It was worth the price! My wife enjoyed the ribs and chicken plate. The proportions of food was generous and the timing of service between the appetizers and entrées was spot on. It was a lovely evening with a great meal and wonderful service at Leilani‘s on the beach. We look forward to our next trip to Maui so we can have dinner at Leilani‘s on the beach.

Outstanding experience. The food was delicious and well presented. The portions were plenty and the service was outstanding. The location next to the beach was awesome and seeing the sunset was special. The humas, wedge salad and chicken and ribs were fabulous. A perfect setting for a Hawaiian dinner. Long live Duke K.

Great location- beautiful views - excellent food - busy, busy! Only complaints would be 30" wait for a table AFTER confirmed reservation time. Not a great start to a Birthday celebration for my wife! Ushered to the outdoor bar for a drink while waiting for table; great views from the deck but ... why have a reservation (made 60 days ago and re-confirmed) if you're going to have to wait?? Food was delicious and while waiter was competent, we felt he was distracted by larger parties and catered to them while letting us wait. Instead of paying with a credit card, I paid cash just so we wouldn't have to wait.
