Daylon served us for the first time, and he was excellent. Ivan was assisting him, and he is always very very attentive, professional, and friendly.. Great drinks from the bartender, and fantastic steaks for all three of us! Thank you everyone!

Kudos to the chef who prepared our beautiful most deliciously satisfying for the money food:seafood platter , lamb chops , bruschetta, etc. Everything to the t! The two birthday desserts were a most pleasant sweet surprise!!! To TOP it all , our server, a true professional waiter , was attentive , without being over indulgent, and oh so gracious! Thank you ever so much for a most memorable evening! We will surely be back!

The location, , near the Burnaby Village Museum, with lots of parking is excellent. The decor and ambiance in the wonderful old mansion is of quiet, cozy elegance. The staff are warm and welcoming and the service is superb. The cocktail and wine lists are lengthy and very intriguing. The reason that I have not given it 5 stars is that the food is mediocre. It's a bit of letdown that the food is not as amazing as everything else about the Hart House. My daughters and I frequently dine there and will continue to do so, but it is not the food that is drawing us there; it is the other first class amenities.
