Restaurants near Morrow Mountain State Park

I went there to celebrate my mothers' birthday and eventhough it was a rainy night in the winter the food, ambience and service was just as good as it was when I took my fiance a few months before, in the summer, during the day. Special occasion on not, RH rooftop is a great choice.

We went for restaurant week and the food was exceptional! For our first course, we had the chicken and mushroom pastry dish that is not on the normal menu and it was like a deconstructed pot pie but richer. I’d definitely try and get it while you can. We also had the deviled eggs with caviar and they were delicious. For the main course we had the salmon and the beef bourguignon. The salmon melted in your mouth like butter but we both agreed the beef was even better. Again, it was very rich and tender. For the last course we got the chocolate gatueau and the ricane which was like a snickers bar, but very light since it’s made with mousse. Both were excellent. Can’t wait to come back and try the French Onion Soup. We kept seeing it come out from the kitchen and it looked so tasty. I also want to mention the service - it was incredible. Everything was paced perfectly and our server was so sweet and kept checking on us and the food. We will definitely be back!

This was our first visit to this establishment and I must say..from the moment you arrive...the service is inviting and top notch. I can't find ANYTHING negative to say ..from. the drinks to the appetizers to the entrees and yes we were STUFFED...however we SQUEEZED IN DESSERT .truly a great experience. Yes to the fried lobster tails..shrimp appetizers..collassal cocktail shrimp..double yes to the ribeye....scallops..Seafood Mac, sautéed mushrooms, crab cake..corn creme brulee, key lime, ultimate caramel cake Don't judge us ...judge ADAM..OUR FABULOUS SERVER...he kept suggesting and we kept accepting We will definitely visit again

Steak was great. Very expensive though. But meal was wonderful. Waiter was very engaging and helpful. Greeter though reminded us that restaraunt closes at 12, when we were being seated which seems pretty unprofessional at such a high end restaraunt.

We ordered from the Queen's Feast menu. My wife had the goat cheese appetizer, French onion soup and salmon. The salmon was huge and enough for two people. I had the bacon wrapped scallops, Caesar salad and strip steak. The scallops were fresh and nicely prepared. The drinks from the bar were every good. Great table service. We will be back for one of their Monday night specials.
