We went for lunch and sat in the 'alcove' area. Really nice spot overlooking the river. We stayed for quite a while as it was so cosy while the first snow fell outside. Our waitress was outstanding; all of the service was friendly, fast, and very helpful. The food was also really excellent. I got the seafood cake and a side of poutine. Both were really tasty - especially liked that the gravy on the poutine wasn't overly salty. My wife and daughter both had the French onion soup and really liked it. Also had a nice Boston salad on the side. The highlight was likely the dessert - a lemongrass creme brûlée. Absolutely delicious. It was a bit pricey but good value overall. Really enjoyable experience.More infoBistro le SAM - Fairmont Château FrontenacPrice: Moderate• undefined• Québec•4.6

If you can afford to splurge on a once in a lifetime exceptional culinary experience, you do not want to miss this.More infoLe Champlain Restaurant - Fairmont Château FrontenacPrice: Moderate• undefined• Québec•4.7
