We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

The name Hapa is derived from the Hawaiian term that describes a harmonious blend of Asian and American cultures. Like our name, our food reflects this dynamic combination. The menu is based on traditional Japanese cooking fundamentals which are then amplified, muted, or mixed with influences from many different styles of cooking until they are something completely new: they're Hapa. We have stretched the boundaries of creativity to develop dishes that defy all the rules while holding true to our roots. We hope that you will find our menu innovative, uninhibited, and distinctly fun! Incomplete parties will not be sat until complete.

Second time coming here. This is a MUST during the Holidays season as it is inside Hotel Boulderado and they have an Irish Spruce tree in the lobby and it is completely decorated for Christmas. Recommend making reservations because they are always busy OR you can sit at the bar OR just order coffee at the coffee window. We had Brunch menu- Corned beef hash (made in-house), Breakfast Burrito, OJ, cinnamon latte with oat milk and lavender latte with oat milk Great staff and fast service. Parking is challenging but you can valet if you can’t find street parking.

Wonderful restaurant. Service is excellent, food is delicious and ambience is delightful. Great old fashioned cocktail with good whiskey collection and wines by the glass. Pappardelle entree was excellent, as was the sea bass. Angus beef tartare appetizer and the minestrone soup were great. Good deserts. Prices are a bit steep, but it is worth it for a nice celebration.
