Mariposa is becoming our favorite spot in Newark. Walking in feels like home and we are always treated like family. It’s obvious that the employees all love their jobs, they get along and work great together (you don’t get that many places). Plus everything is made FRESH to order. We ordered the “Lenten” special, one of the best meals we’ve had there. Dos Equis beer battered cod, perfectly paired with Papas Rotas potatoes and delicious mixed greens with pickled onion and lemon vinaigrette dressing. Our party of 4 all ordered the same dish and there was not a speck of food left an out plates! I hope they offer this special every Friday!!
