- MMadelineBaton Rouge / Lafayette •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoAte on the heated patio. Was very lovely and warm. White chocolate on rocks drink was great, food was good. I got the seafood skillet (like a sampler$ - most was delicious but it seemed some pieces were cooked better than others or maybe I’m just not enough of a fish person. It also seemed to have been all tossed and coated in garlic parm panko. The potato was also a bit lackluster - just literally that, a baked potato. But the coleslaw was the perfect blend of creamy, sour, sweet, and salt. So overall, 4/5 The service and vibes were wonderful, our waiter was excellent and attentive. They sang me happy birthday and put a candle in my dessert. I got the chocolate lava cake (flourless cake). I subbed the vanilla for their raspberry ice cream. Very yummy though too much food. I went on recommendation of chocolate desert options and ambiance and was not disappointed. Hubby loved the lamb as well, which was cooked to medium rare and was yummy. Overall, would def return, but maybe just get cod or a fish I know I liked rather than try a sampler version. High recommend stillMore infoThe Mill on the RiverPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• South Windsor•4.7
- JJudithNew York City •2 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoI've eaten several times at Max's Oyster Bar. Primarily, for special occasions. The food never disappoints. This is the first time I've had brunch there. Tried the soup on special. Lobster bisque. A rather large bowl was served of this lovely concoction. It was flavorful, rich and very filling!! Couldn't finish it all! Had the eggs benedict, which is a favorite of mine. Very good!! All in all, no complaints. Oh! The bloody Mary was Large and also, very good. Can't go wrong eating at Max's!! Worth every penny!More infoMax Oyster Bar - West Hartford CenterPrice: Very Expensive• American• West Hartford•4.8
