- TTimothyGreater Boston •3 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAs always, the Coast Guard House lived up to its excellent reputation for outstanding food, service, and friendliness. The menu options and wine choices are also excellent. Very highly recommended. It also happens to be a very historic building that was repurposed very appropriately into the excellent restaurant that it is and continues to be.More infoThe Coast Guard HousePrice: Moderate• Seafood• Narragansett•4.7
- KKenGreater Boston •6 reviews4.0Dined 5 days agoGreat food and Service. Although we (table of 5) were initially the only ones in the restaurant on Sunday when it opened for lunch the dining room started to fill up quickly. Our server was helpful and appropriately attentive. We ordered the buffalo cauliflower bites which came out hot and crispy in a light batter followed by a few burgers, cod sandwich, salads and soups. It was all cooked as we had requested, fries were crispy and everything but the soup was very good. The French onion soup was ok but not too exciting. I’d skip it next time. Our server suggested the coconut cream cake which we split 5 ways and it did not disappoint. Not too sweet, maybe a mild taste of rum and plenty of coconut. As most know dry coconut can taste like sawdust if it is cheap and been shelved for a while. This coconut was perfect. Nicely done Breachway Grill. We will be back.More infoThe Breachway GrillPrice: Moderate• American• Charlestown•4.5

- DDavidGreater Boston •6 reviews4.0Dined on Oct 23, 2024We know the head chef was out which was disappointing, leaving a few specialities off the menu. My wife’s scallops were a little over-salted and a couple of them were slightly overcooked. Other than that everything was delicious. The oysters were delicious, the antipasto skewer was generous and tasty as was the house salad. For entrees they were incredibly generous portions, the risotto with the pork chop and pork chop itself were amazing. The value for this whole experience was incredible, and our server Tara did an amazing job even though she had the bar and sunroom all by herself. That being said she kept up with everyone, made great suggestions and was a great server! We will definitely be returning! (This was our first visit, for our 39th anniversary!).
