Restaurants near North Greenville University

We’ve been a few times over the years. My husband never thought it was anything special while I’ve always loved the food and how some of their popular cocktails can be made into delicious mocktails for us AF baddies who still enjoy something special to drink and dont like soda. Anyway— My husband travels a ton and has eaten at some of the best steak homes in the USA. Last night he tried the Waygu on their special menu, hesitantly— we’ve had some great waygu and also horrible waygu… so it could go either way. Happy to report— It was outstanding!! He was blown away and said it was by far the best one he had ever had (even better than the grand bohemian downtown Greenville which until last night was the best waygu he’d found locally. I was a little sticker shocked when we got our bill— at $300 it was by far the most expensive and imo overpriced waygu we’d ever had. (Most sit around $200 mark). Still, he said it was worth it so I guess that’s all that matters. He did let me sample it and it was that amazing. Looking forward to our next visit!

We are from Atlanta and were in town for a show at the Peace Center. It’s been years since we’ve been here but we would not miss an opportunity to go to Sony’s. Everything is always delicious no matter what is on the menu. We will be back!!

Fork and plough continues to be one of our favorite restaurants. Food quality is excellent. Our service last night was very good. Pleasant experience all around.

Service, food, atmosphere were all excellent and exceeded expectations. Food is true farm to table with fresh local ingredients all the way down to the cocktail syrups. Every detail is accounted for. Best overall restaurant experience I’ve had in the Greenville area. Will be back again!

The steaks and lobster mac n cheese were delightful. Searing your steak on a heated salt block at your table was a new experience for us. Definitely recommend!
