The Ferry Inn is a serendipitous country public house with welcoming staff, character rooms, candlelight, open fires, real ales, popular foods and fantastic sunsets. A 17th Century former smugglers haunt-- this is a pretty little pub in a lovely marshland setting with tables and benches on the front terrace and in the back alongside the riverbank. Inside it's very easygoing and chatty. The main bar has hop-draped painted beams, a green dado, and stools against the bar where they serve a beer called Oxney Ale specially brewed for the pub by Westerham Brewery. To the right is a cosy eating area with wheelback chairs-- ideal for a banquette with friends around a few long tables.

The Two Sawyers is a 16th Century Inn recently refurbished and under family ownership. We pride ourselves on serving excellent beer and food. This pub has outstanding food. The atmosphere was buzzy but not noisy. We had bar snacks to start, followed by starters, the Rarebit was delicious, mains, my burger was amazing, and the dessert, dark chocolate ganache, was also fantastic. I would recommend this pub to anyone looking for good quality locally sourced food. Jake the general manager was friendly, attentive and knowledgable about everything on the menu, including the wine menu.

Beautiful setting & the lighting & dining area is warm comfortable & cosy. The staff were very attentive & engaging & we felt very welcomed. My only slight negative is that the menu is very limited, albeit the food was delicious.

We had a great meal at Sentido, it was recommended to us by a friend so we thought we would give it a go as we are local. Was really nice, very welcoming and great food. We ate in the restaurant, but we will be going back for sure to try some tapas in the bar area.
