- EEvelinAtlanta Metro •5 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoI had a very pleasant experience at Fogo de Chao. It was my husband's surprise birthday and just as I asked, they acted very discreetly for the surprise. The waitress was very nice, she always came to serve us glasses of wine and was attentive to what we wanted. It was a bit noisy because of the number of people talking at the same time and many customers are not polite and do not know how to speak in a restaurant, but that is not the restaurant's fault but rather the fault of the people who do not know how to behave. I recommend the restaurant 100%. I am a frequent customer and once again I loved it and will go back very soon. They bring you the meat however you want it, all types of meat, and the best thing about the restaurant is that many waiters speak Portuguese, Spanish, and English. I love that this restaurant has so many bilingual people. It is a very nice thing. 5 stars, but if I could give it more, I would give it more.More infoFogo de Chao - DunwoodyPrice: Moderate• Brazilian• Dunwoody•4.4
- BBradVIPPhoenix / Arizona •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoFirst, Lauren was out server and she was phenomenal! Took great care of us and paced the meal perfectly. Knew answers to every question and gave great recommendations. Atmosphere was more casual than a traditional steak house but I loved the charm... And they definitely aren't lacking in any area compared to other Atlanta steakhouses I've been to, this is now my favorite establishment. The oysters, meatballs, and tuna tartare were great starters. Steaks were all cooked perfectly and the bone marrow butter was a perfect compliment. Cream corn and twice baked potato were just right. I had two cocktails which were both perfectly balanced. Bramble smash was my favorite. I finished the meal with the bread budding which was the best of the 4 desserts on our table. Pineapple upside down cake was also very good. I highly recommend this spot and we will return.More infoLittle Alley Steak - RoswellPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Roswell•4.8
- MMichaelVIPAtlanta Metro •83 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoA former colleague, and dear friend, Susan, texted me and asked if I wanted to go to Joey D's for dinner. Well... YES! It was a belated Birthday celebration as I turned 137 on the 10th. But we look for any reason to go out and it's always a hoot. Christmas revelry was in full force as the place was packed for our 6PM reservation. That said I was seated immediately waiting for her to arrive, by none other than Kaylee herself, and got my request for a table at the far end of the room. That's my favorite place to sit as you can see the entire room, watch the team work, and have a front on view of that wonderful backlit bar. Drinks were ordered, a martini for her and Prosecco for me, a rundown of specials, and upon our servers return we ordered. Susan had a garlic NY Strip. Ordered rare with a side Caesar and a loaded spud. ( I like saying spud ). The steak was delivered as ordered. Susan commented that there was ample garlic butter that makes this steak wonderful. I had the Caesar entrée salad with chicken. As you know this is among my favorite Caesar salads in the city and it came overdressed ( my term ) in that wonderful Caesar dressing and plenty of grated cheese. There was not a morsel left when I finished. Cannot remember my server's name but she did a great job stopping by to check on our drinks and food throughout the evening. It's good to see familiar faces in the front of the house. Amancho, one of my favorites, was delivering food to a nearby table and said hello, as did Drew the Assistant GM. I come here often and aside from my typical seating request I feel as though I am not at all a pretentious diner here, but it's nice to know that they appreciate my patronage. Business here is good and the team well-oiled. Kudos to the management! A birthday piece of cheesecake to go, And another wonderful evening at one of my very favorite places in the books. Oh .... cheesecake-sofa-sweatpants is the way to go if not eating in the restaurant!More infoJoey D's Oak RoomPrice: Moderate• American• Dunwoody•4.7

- EEbonyAtlanta Metro •3 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOur server was great! His name was Collin or Cole? Sorry I can’t remember right now but he was very kind. I was sitting by myself waiting on my friend to arrive, he greeted me and made me feel super comfortable while I waited for her to arrive. Then once she arrived he took great care of us. The chef brought us our food and he was kind as well. The food and drinks were AMAZING as always a 10/10! The only thing I was disappointed by was that they removed the 3 course meal promo. That’s what I get every time without that it made the meal way more expensive than what I normally pay but again I had a great time. The Select is becoming one of my favorite restaurants here in Atlanta!More infoThe SelectPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Sandy Springs•4.7
