- JJennyLancashire •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoCame for lunch with mum, Grandparents and family dog. All greeted with a smile and friendly welcome and shown to our reserved table. We had the fish and chips which my gran said was delicious, the cheese pie (a family favourite) and the newly added all day brunch which didn’t disappoint. After dinner coffee finished off an all round wonderful dining experience. Thank you all at team Redwell, we will be back.More infoThe Redwell Country InnPrice: Moderate• Café• Lancaster•4.7

- MMikeNewcastle and Northumberland •12 reviews5.0Dined on May 1, 2025During a short break at the Black Bull we had two very good evening meals there. On our first night it was Curry Night - top notch food, fresh, tasty - my lamb rogan josh & my wife's Keralan fish curry both excellent (as was the onion bhaji, nothing like ones you get from a supermarket!). On our last night it was the a la carte menu, and that was a special meal - high quality, excellent presentation, really enjoyable. The starters & dessert were very good, my wife's monkfish and my venison both superb. The Black Bull definitely deserves its reputation for excellent food.More infoThe Black BullPrice: Moderate• British• Kendal•4.4
