Restaurants near One Astor Plaza

This restaurant was great. We arrived at 8:50 for a 9 PM reservation. We were not seated until about 9:30 or 9:40 which was a little annoying, but the coach check gentleman did tell us that it was the busiest Saturday night of the year for some reason. It was a great meal. Everything was delicious. We tried the tableside all you can eat pasta and my husband had the chicken Parmesan, which was cooked to perfection. The prices were standard for Italian food in the city. You can come casual. There is no real dress code the servers were great. I really enjoyed our meal.

As always, everything about Sardo's was excellent! Took some friends who were visiting because I can always count on the Sardi's experience. We arrived early but they were able to accommodate us and not once did anyone push us to hurry. Service with a smile from Oliver and everyone's food, from the salads to the steak to the warm apple crumb was delicious.

This was our second visit to Tony’s and it was even better this time around. It was only my daughter and I, so we ordered the special Chicken Parmesan with Vodka Sauce and Burrata, and a side of rigatoni with broccoli, garlic and olive oil. It was absolutely delicious! For dessert we had the mini cannolis, which were incredible. Our waiter was fantastic! The restaurant was very pretty all decorated for Christmas. The noise level in the restaurant was “energetic” and it was a little bit hard to hear the music and each other talk. But, overall this was a fabulous experience. Still one of our favorite restaurants! Be sure to make a reservation at least a few days in advance. The place is always hopping!

The food was excellent, absolutely delicious and I loved the appetizer bar !!! We lined it so much the first time we went that we went back to have dinner before we left to the airport to go home. Best spaghetti and short rib meatballs I’ve ever had , the calamari was cooked perfectly and ong the house made fettuccine and red shrimp was amazing!!! So delicious. The pizza was so good and tasty with a hint of sweet. The second time we went we had the steak and frites and was cooked perfectly and tasty , I had to have to spaghetti and meatballs again and we also had the fettuccine and red shrimp again and a Cesar salad . Seriously the best meals we had in New York !!!!! The service was excellent too. I made reservations walked in and we were seated within five minutes of arrival. I recommend to everyone and look forward to going back to New York and Bond 45. Clean and super cute decor and location is great in Times Square.

We’ve eaten at Carmine’s a few times now but we love eating there during this time of year. Carmine’s is the perfect spot for a festive holiday meal! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with beautiful decorations that set the holiday mood. The service is top-notch—attentive and friendly, making you feel right at home. Their family-style Italian dishes are absolutely delicious, with generous portions that are perfect for sharing. So, for being in the heart of NYC, it’s a decent value for our family.
