We had a great night with a lovely attentive waiter. Food was good and a very relaxed lovely evening - not rushed at all!

Lovely food! And great service. I love how the waiting staff explained all the dishes as they arrived. However Restaurant was overheated and awful lighting. I usually barely notice these things but the bright lamps were only just above our heads and it was not relaxing. Get a table outside….thats what we should have done!

Good food but busy and rather warm in the restaurant - time of year plus time of day - pre & post theatre diners, probably

The whole experience was excellent, food , staff , ambience. The only thing that possibly would be a problem was , We ate early @ 6pm and had the shared steak platter ( which was amazing) however it had to be put on the table next to us as our table was quite small and the tables were close together. There was no one at the tables either side of us whilst we ate but it I’m not sure if we could have ordered that meal if it was busy due to the table layout and size. Wasn’t a problem for us but could be a problem .Thanks again though to everyone at the Fishes for a lovely evening and for the complimentary fizz for our anniversary celebration.
