Beautiful location. Can’t be beat. We enjoyed the meal and company mainly because of the view. The desserts were not very good and the fish could be a bit more varied in terms of options. Would still come back for the location and service is very friendly.

Hands-down, the best meal we had in Kauai. Our server Stephanie could not have been better. Attentive full of great recommendations and an absolute pleasure. Every meal was outstanding, a wonderful combination of flavors and spices. The wasabi Caesar salad was probably the best salad we have ever eaten. This restaurant should be number one on your list when you visit the island of Kawaii.

Wow!! What an amazing culinary experience!! From the first course to dessert you will receive an over the top dining event! The chef is a master and the food is delicious and presented with such elegance. This is by far the best meal we had in Kauai. The fish was prepared with such care and ambition. The beautiful presentation of each course enhances the delicious food. You will be lucky to get a reservation at this incredible restaurant.

Eating outdoors at Gaylord's is a wonderful experience which we've enjoyed for almost 20 years. The setting is unparalleled; and the food is wonderful. We had the fish tacos and the fresh catch of the day--both mahi mahi. Both the flavor and presentation were beautiful. We further indulged with the goat cheese cheese cake with lemon curd. This beautiful dessert was presented with artfully placed raspberries and nonpareils-type confections decorating the plate. It was wonderful. My only complaint: a 20 minute wait for our reservation, despite arriving on time. (Hence the 4 stars for service. Our server was fine.)
