Restaurants near Palm Plaza Shopping Center

This was a delightful dinner in a beautiful place with excellent service. There were so many ways to enjoy local catch making it a tough decision. When I'm a touristy area restaurants often don't have to try very hard for quality but not Louisiana Lagniappe. It is a true gem in Orange Beach!

We had an amazing experience! Our waiter was very knowledgeable with recommendations and our food was good (especially the crab cakes!) We sat on the covered area outside and were able to watch the sunset and stay warm with the outdoor heaters.

Truly delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere! We tried Local and Company after reading reviews and we were not disappointed! The cocktails were well-crafted (and honestly the best blue cheese stuffed olives in the Local and Bleu!) The salmon was well cooked and tasty, as was the quinoa bowl. The pizza was perfect and wood fired. Don’t miss this gorgeous place with wonderful people!

We had a great experience at Gelato Joe's. Our waitress Tammy was excellent. Her recommendations on menu items were fantastic. We tried fried green tomatoes, vegetable beef soup, French dip, stuffed shells with meat sauce marinara, salad, garlic bread & vanilla strawberry cake. Every item was incredibly tasty. Tammy is a superior waitress. She took wonderful care of us. We would highly recommend Gelato Joe's!

Visiting from out of town, took our dearest ma ma out for lunch. We had a reservation and were seated promptly in their high vaulted trendy green barn lunch complex. The staff was amazingly kind and supportive and delivered attentive care and compassionate service. The food was everything we hoped for from a renowned farm to table experience. Oysters 10/10, lunch menu 10/10, drinks delicious. If you’re visiting you need to eat here, you’ll notice a huge difference in the flavor and quality of the food, you won’t regret it. Only feedback to the management is to have signage or a booklet at the tables or visible from the tables to explain your history, vision, mission about serving farm fresh food. Would really add to the experience and connect patrons to your business. And maybe a manager drive by to the tables to thank people for waiting and coming. Staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and confused about table ownership and I didn’t see management (doesn’t mean they weren’t there just didn’t see them supporting).
