The ambiance at Dean's was exceptional, thanks to its unique location inside the historic old German school, which is seamlessly connected to the extraordinary Kimpton Santo Hotel. Our server was outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and spot-on with recommendations for our table. I thoroughly enjoyed my bone-in steak, which was perfectly marbled and cooked to perfection. I couldn’t resist picking up the bone and savoring every last bite when my guests weren’t looking—it was that good. While the bone marrow appetizer fell short of expectations, the fresh bread and salted butter more than made up for it. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience. Dean clearly takes great pride in his steaks, and while the prices are on the higher side, the quality makes it worth every bite and penny.

Excellent food and service. Our waiter, Preston, was very attentive and we didn't have to ask for refills or wait long for food. He was constantly refilling our drinks and willing to help. The food was simply amazing. From the salad to the main entree, excellent. Our regards to the chef. This was a wonderful anniversary dining experience.

Food was excellent and staff was great. The area is designed around tourists of course, so keep this in mind. But overall I'm very pleased.
