During the low season (from July 23rd to October 13th), we operate with 2 service times: 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, and we close at 4:00 PM.High season hours (starting October 15th) will be 11:00 AM, 1:00 PM, and 3:00 PM, with closing time at 5:00 PM.To make a reservation, the system requires a non-refundable prepayment of $120 pesos per person for round-trip boat transportation.     The location and ambience are everything you’d hope for in a PV experience. With the option of being under the roof or on the beach, we chose the beach. Perfect choice. The service was friendly and efficient. The food was stellar. The final check felt a little pricier than their $$$ designation. My wife continued to thank me for finding La Palapa and treating our group of four to an evening we will always cherish when our memories find us back in PV.

    Erik was the best. Personable and very informative. He provided that extra level of service that made the experience that much better. Great atmosphere and excellent ambience. We had the USDA prime options that did not disappoint. If you want steak in PV, this place is top notch. I give it a 9/10.

    For Puerta Vallarta "a one of a kind" / off the beaten track by Mismaloya / a short 10 minute boat ride to the grill Outdoor - laid back / wonderful service / no rush Reservations needed / a couple of seating times each day Food pricing moderate / good portions / efficient and pleasant staff / we were a party of 12 / probably the best group experience of the week and this was the third year we have been back Not to be missed
