I had the most wonderful Mother’s Day experience at Shakespeare Coffee & Bistro in Cockfosters this year, and I can’t recommend it highly enough! The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made my mum feel like the star of the day, which instantly set the tone for a special celebration. The Mother’s Day menu was an absolute delight—every dish was crafted with care and bursting with flavor. We started with a beautifully presented platter that had a little bit of everything, from fresh, vibrant salads to succulent grilled options that melted in your mouth. The main course was a triumph; I opted for the Turkish-inspired breakfast (even though it was afternoon—it’s that good!), and my mum raved about her perfectly seasoned chicken dish. The portions were generous, and the attention to detail in every bite made it clear that this is a place that takes pride in its food. The drinks were a highlight too—the Shakespeare Punch was a refreshing, flavorful treat that paired perfectly with the meal, and the pistachio lattes were a creamy, indulgent surprise that we’re still talking about. For dessert, the French toast with seasonal fruit was a sweet, heavenly finish that left us both smiling. What really stood out, though, was the service. The team went above and beyond to make the day memorable, checking in just enough to feel attentive without ever being intrusive. The décor was gorgeous too—modern yet cozy, with little touches that made it feel like a home away from home. It was the perfect setting to spoil my mum and make her feel truly appreciated. We booked a table for 12 teenagers to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday. Everything went so well. The pizzas were delicious and such good value compared to other pizza places. Service was personal and exceptional. I didn’t take her name but she really helped to make it a special occasion. I hope she enjoyed the slice of matcha birthday cake! The restaurant was clean, bright and had a lovely ambience. Perfect way to celebrate my son’s 16th birthday after a fun activity. Thank you kindly.
