Kokkari (pronounced “Ko-Kar-ee”) is a small fishing village located on the islands of Samos in the Aegean Sea, whose name is derived from the small onions that were once produced in the nearby fields. Absolutely amazing! Every dish was delicious from our starters to the main meal. The fish was some of the best I’ve ever had (Lavaraki sp?). Delicious lamb riblets, spanakopita…. One of the best restaurants in San Francisco.
