Riccardo was born in Florence, Italy and grew up in Boston, MA. Marybeth, a Sioux Falls native, ventured to the east coast as a nanny and then nursing school in Somerville, MA. The two met, fell in love, and became engaged on Martha’s Vineyard island. Moving back to Sioux Falls in 1999 and working at several area restaurants, they opened R Wine Bar in 2018. Great views of the park in a open and bright room. The service was great, waiter mad good suggestions. I had the Lobster Tortellini and it was fantastic! Real chucks of lobster. Is a bit noisy because of the lack of soft surfaces to absorb sound. A bit cold feeling, but a great addition to Downtown. We will be back!
