Restaurants near Plaza de los Ponchos

I am a solo traveler. I booked my reservation and was seated on time. A waitperson came to the table and explained it all then disappeared. I was then mostly ignored until a manager/supervisor noticed that I was sitting waiting with an empty table. I explained that I had been waiting for the check for 20 minutes. They comped me a cup of coffee then I left. I did not leave a gratuity.

Enjoyed a Christmas Eve dinner. I did the vegetarian tasting menu and wine pairing w8th all south American wines. Very good pairing. Family got duck, chicken and beef which was all very good. Service was very attentive. Recommend as a nice meal in Quito. Prices are similar to the US.

Excellent food and service. Host and waitress were great. Also very accommodating with requested changes to menu.

No comment it was below expectations but that is my experience since I’m a fan that has tasted what PF’s menu is like elsewhere.

We had a party of 14 people but we had made three separate reservations. La Gloria staff eagerly accomodated us by combining three tables so that our entire party could sit together. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and attentive throughout the evening. In summary, La Gloria really delivered for us and made the evening special. I appreciate their dedication and talents.
