Restaurants near Point of the Isle 2

Been just over 3 years since we last dined here (Note: we were on the road full time in an RV for almost 2 of those years). Had Thanksgiving Dinner yesterday. Although there have been several changes, the quality of the menu and the service remains top notch. Wine list is not as comprehensive but still offers good value and selection. Son and daughter in law were visiting, so we wanted a special place for dinner. Angelena's knocked it out of the park once again. Thanks to the management and staff for being open on Thanksgiving and giving us one more reason to give thanks!

Thanksgiving Menu. Good was OK but not great as I anticipated for Brother Fox. Parents enjoyed their turkey and ham. Prime rib was just OK. Expensive for portions and sides. Service was very good although we felt rushed. Mains appeared before we finished salads which is unacceptable in our view. Acoustics were loud as restaurant was very full.

What a wonderful Thanksgiving at Jackson’s! This was a different holiday lunch for us, as we always cook a traditional meal at home, but Jackson’s did not disappoint! Everything was delicious with a bit of an upscale flair. I especially loved the dressing with andouille sausage and the cranberry chutney. Thank you, Jackson’s, for making this non traditional Thanksgiving special! Our server was very good, but I forgot her name. It started with an L, maybe Lauren?? I specifically asked her and then forgot! Sorry!

First the four of us ate here. Were going to the lical Seanger show. Perfect location and food was very good. Quite a diverse menus. Only issue I have is they another establishment that asks for 20% tips. Pay your staff. I hate leaving an 8%, 10, or 12% tip but tips are a little thank you not salary.

I continue to like UPH more and more with each visit.
