Restaurants near Pool Forge Covered Bridge

Vicker's Tavern was always one of our favorite romantic hot spots and we missed it when it closed. White Dog has done a great job renovating and expanding its footprint. We felt very welcomed upon arriving and I had jokingly asked for a table near a fireplace because we live in Florida now. When we checked in, the hostess chuckled and guided us to a table right next to a fireplace! They offer a nice list of cocktails and wines by the glass. To start, definitely try the mushroom soup, it was amazing. The flounder, trout and cajun catfish entrees were very well done. Service was accommodating and friendly. We had a very good experience.

First time visitors and will for sure not be our last! My wife and I sat upstairs for our 8:15 reservation. The host was very friendly and outgoing, starting our night off on a great first experience .We were promptly welcomed by our server. Nice wine selections, crafty cocktails, and the food was very well prepared and presented. The atmosphere was dim-lit, cozy, yet elegant. The server checked in on us at the appropriate times, ensuring we were enjoying our meals while also respecting our privacy. A few other guests were a little loud at the bar, but that happens sometimes and it didn't ruin our experience. Can't wait to go back with family and friends!

Exceptional staff great food wonderful evening highly recommend for anyone to go 

We had a very good experience overall! The calamari, seafood pasta entrée, blackened salmon entrée and truffle fries were outstanding. The lamb chops would have been better if they were double cut. Our server was attentive and friendly. The noise level was slightly higher than expected and the wait time on delivery of appetizers and entrées was a bit slow but the restaurant was very busy because they were hosting 3 Christmas party groups. We plan to dine there again in the future.

Food and service were excellent as always. Our party had the filet mignon, burgers, brussels sprouts, Montecristo, and the chili garlic nuts are absolutely delicious. Pleasant ambience, friendly service and delicious cocktails. Get the chocolate old-fashioned—it is absolutely fantastic.
