We sat at the bar…always our choice. We love the dimly lit atmosphere there. The service is excellent and the martinis and wine delicious. This is a must go to place for couples for a romantic evening. We went here for our 48th anniversary. We’ve been many times before and always love it here.

I would highly recommend this restaurant. Excellent food. I had the fish and chips my husband had the pork belly. Both were excellent. A great twist on fish and chips. With the eggplant fries and tomatoe sauce with the fish. Exellent drinks. Wonderful presentation of both food and drinks! Five star for us.

Derrick's Steakhouse: A Cut Above the Rest Celebrating a birthday at Derrick's Steakhouse in Kelowna was an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped inside, the ambiance was sophisticated and inviting. The decor was elegant, creating the perfect setting for a special occasion. Our evening began with a celebratory glass of Dom Perignon, setting the tone for a truly luxurious dining experience. We started with a delightful beet salad, followed by a classic Prawn Cocktail – both beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. For the main course, we indulged in a 10 oz Striploin with Brandy Peppercorn Sauce and a 6 oz Tenderloin with blue cheese. Both cuts were cooked to perfection, tender and juicy. The accompanying broccolini and baby potatoes were perfectly seasoned and complemented the rich flavors of the steaks. We paired this with an amazing bottle of GD Varja. The service was impeccable. Our server, Chris D, was a true professional with a captivating handlebar mustache. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and ensured our every need was met. The Maitre'd, Mike E, demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable dining experience. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Ross Derrick, who shared the inspiring story of how he opened the restaurant to honor his father's legacy. It was clear that passion and dedication were poured into every aspect of the establishment. To cap off the evening, we shared the decadent Chocolate Silk cake, a perfect ending to a truly memorable meal. Overall: Derrick's Steakhouse is a must-visit for any discerning diner in Kelowna. The manager Kash greeted and seated us to our table. He went out of his way to help us celebrate our 30th anniversary. Our server Ryder was amazing and could not have asked for anything better. Got treated to a dessert to top off the evening. What started off as unfortunate events of a week long getaway turned into a magical night at Earls. Definitely will be going back when we visit Kelowna this summer and having that amazing warm potato salad. Thank u again.
