Restaurants near Portland Bill Lighthouse

Love a mid week carvery at The Turks but I was a little dismayed to see that on this occasion we were only given 2 slices of meat. We have always had more in the past. Veg selection is absolutely cracking though and the stuffing balls are really tasty.

We came here for my mother in law's birthday, food was beyond amazing, I think we all ate enough for the week! All staff were so friendly and attentive, and we even asked if we could give them a birthday cake to bring to the table at the end of the meal for my mother in law, and yep nothing was an issue, such a lovely evening, we will definitely be back, thankyou so much everyone! :-)

Really enjoyed the Cote breakfast on New Year’s Day. Excellent food, very pleasant and efficient staff - just a little noisy. This is as a result of sound bouncing off all the hard surfaces. We recently attended similar restaurants that have installed ceiling baffles that improved the noise significantly.

We ate here for Xmas Eve , we wanted somewhere that served delicious food but in a quiet atmosphere as we were with my elderly parents who are hard of hearing This restaurant was perfect in both ways, excellent tasty dishes well prepared and served. And not at all noisy , tables well spaced apart and we ate early so not busy either
