All the food was great as usual. If you get the skillet cookie for dessert. I recommend getting two scoops of vanilla ice cream and skip the chocolate ice cream. Great dessert but they all are great.More infoJeff Ruby's Steakhouse - LouisvillePrice: Very Expensive• Steak• Downtown Louisville•4.8
- TTrenaIndiana •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoAn amazing ambiance celebrating the Cuban culture! Started off with bread wrapped in newspaper depicting a print from the 1950’s. Guava butter and cilantro lime butter were offered. Both were delicious! Tried the shrimp ceviche that has a tomato base with thinly sliced red onion, and cilantro. It was very refreshing just as the waitress described. My husband ordered the Ropa Vieja en Lata and didn’t know it means “beef in a can”. It was served table side by a waiter that described the canning process and the titles meaning. He proceeded to open and serve the perfectly cooked beef along with white rice and fried plantains. I had the salmon Varadero served with yellow rice and fried plantains. I could not resist adding a side of black beans. Everything exceeded our expectations! The service was impeccable and we will be back!More infoLa Bodeguita De MimaPrice: Moderate• Cuban• East Market St - NuLu•4.9
- BBiljanaVIPCincinnati / Dayton •34 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoI recently dined at Guacamole and overall, it was a great experience. The food was excellent, with bold flavors and fresh ingredients. I highly recommend trying the nachos—they were perfectly layered with toppings and full of flavor. The cocktails were also a standout, well-balanced and creative. Service was equally impressive. The staff was attentive, friendly, and efficient. However, the food came out a little too quickly, which made us feel somewhat rushed. Additionally, the noise level was higher than expected, making conversation a bit challenging at times. Despite these minor issues, I would still highly recommend trying. If you’re looking to try something new. The quality of the food and drinks, along with great service, make it well worth a visit.More infoGuacamole Modern MexicanPrice: Moderate• Mexican• East Market St - NuLu•4.8
- OTOpenTable DinerCentral Kentucky •2 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoI came in and celebrated Galentine’s with two of my closest friends. The food was phenomenal, and the drinks were great! Now, our server AJ Calvin seemed disoriented and behind when he came and greeted our table. When he first introduced himself, he stated he was the host and would be bringing us water, which left us slightly confused about whether he was specifically our server or just a host. It also took a while to take our drink and appetizer orders. Once asked if he was our server, he swiftly corrected us and said he prefers to be called a host rather than a server. From there, the experience started to decline when he told jokes that honestly weren’t funny or humorous; his jokes bordered on unprofessional. Maybe he was having an off day, but his inability to read the table throughout the entire service left a lasting negative impression.More infoSteak & Bourbon - DowntownPrice: Very Expensive• Steakhouse• West Louisville•4.8
