The Harwood Arms re-opened in September 2008 after some much needed refurbishment. This rural haven in the middle of Fulham is a collaboration between Brett Graham of the famed Ledbury restaurant, Mike Robinson of the acclaimed Pot Kiln pub in rural Berkshire and Edwin Vaux from the famous Vaux brewery. The idea is to provide Londoners with a really relaxed venue for eating the finest British produce, cooked amazingly well, accompanied by excellent beer and wine at a great price.

'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe,has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. The staff were lovely and extremely accommodating. The bottarga orzo and the ribeye were definitely the start of the show, but everything else was fantastic. Very well priced for such a popular restaurant, and gorgeous interior. Would definitely go back.

Enjoyed our dinner. Attentive service. Great gourmet pizza ( Southern Italy) and fresh salad (goat cheese/pear, rocket/balsamic vinegar and walnut). Although we miss the personalized attention we received from Marco, the original owner/manager and servers of the former owners 😕.
