The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular. We had an excellent meal last night. My son had the ploughman's, huge. Excellent value for money. We come here a few times a year for birthdays etc, and I come with friends. The 2 courses for £22 is really good. Irs do nice to be able to bring the dog and the roaring fire was a bonus on a chilly, damp evening.

One of my favourite gastro-pubs in the North West. Unbelievably warm and friendly ambiance, great service. My choice of food has not been always 10/10 but happy to try more. Always a great choice of wines and other beverages.

Stunning food! Amazing options and it tasted amazing. Nothing was too much, and all staff were polite and friendly. Great atmosphere, lots of afternoon teas being made and enjoyed by all. Fab experiance.
