- JJoshuaCaribbean •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoPedro was our server and he was great, going over all the ingredients in dishes we had questions on. The food was some of the best we've had in Puerto Rico and artistically displayed. Save room for some amazing desserts. Bring cash to tip your servers. As a former restaurant worker, this is highly appreciated by servers. The ambience is very nice and we had a great view in a corner table overlooking the golf course. Every person we came into contact with was very friendly and helpful. Tip: if it's your first time staying at Rio Mar, (It was our first stay at Ocean Villas) you can grab a shuttle at the Lobby level floor, just outside the front doors. Returning shuttles stop at Iguanas every 10-15 minutes to bring you back. (Don't forget to tip your hard working shuttle drivers) Definitely worth a stop at this lovely restaurant if you're staying at Rio Mar.More infoIGUANAS COCINA PUERTORRIQUENA – Wyndham Rio MarPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.7
- DDebVIPWashington, D.C. Area •9 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe have been in PR for a week, and I am so glad this was our final dinner here at the resort. We had the alcapurrias as a starter, and I usually eat one of three when we have three of something. I took my extra half this time. Then we had the Caribbean Sampler - a great choice! For dessert we had the CUATRO leches cake. Our drinks were fabulous too. The staff were great.More infoNéctarPrice: Expensive• Puerto Rican• Rio Grande / Loiza•4.5
- CCasandraDetroit / Eastern Michigan •17 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe saved the best dinner for our last night!! Sama hit all the marks. The service (we had Mia) was amazing! She was attentive, recommended great dishes and so friendly!!! We had the new fashion cocktail which is a rum based old fashion which was great! Best drink we had during our trip to PR. We both ordered the Veal Raghu and it was amazing!! The olives 🫒 in the dish were such a great balance to the sauce. It also had huge chunks of tender, veal! We took a lemon cheesecake to go & it was super refreshing!! This was hands down the best meal we had during our week stay in Puerto Rico! The ambiance was perfect as well. Such a vibe!More infoSamaPrice: Expensive• Seafood• Luquillo•4.8
