Starter of monkfish scampi needs attention, in my humble opinion: The homemade tartar sauce was bland, and the membrane was left on some of the monkfish chunks, which were unpleasant in the mouth. The main of short rib of beef was absolutely amazing. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her fish and chips and tiramasu. Overall, we really enjoyed it. I wouldn't let the disappointing starter put me off coming again.

We had a great day. Thank you to all the front of house staff but also a special thanks to the kitchen staff who were so hard at work to make our experience so special.

We had a double date with our friends at Knead Pizza! It was very nice - we loved the food and the atmosphere! We also loved being able to have our friends’ dog with us at dinner! The only confusing part was that one of the waitresses we talked to wasn’t aware of a promotion that was happening at the restaurant, however that was quickly resolved when we showed proof that the promotion is still applicable for us.

Lovely pub very very quiet we were the only diners in there . Lovely open fire so very cosy on a cold night .

We had a lovely night out here, food was delicious for us all. Service was very friendly and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming with candles lit on every table and lovely soft furnishings making it a really cosy pub.
